Meet Your Guide — Captain Hunter Bach

Since then, he has spent the majority of his time searching out the most untouched recesses of the outdoors for the greatest fishing and outdoor experiences Florida has to offer.  He’s more than just licensed and insured—he’s been published in Florida Sportsman and Shallow Water Angler, earned a reputation for guiding with integrity, and developed a following of returning anglers who value his ability to break down technical fishing into teachable moments.

What Makes This Charter Different

Every Captain says they’re different—but few truly are. What sets Captain Bach Charters apart is structure, not slogans.

Technique-Specific: Whether you're fly fishing, using artificials, or sight fishing with light tackle, the day is customized to suit your strengths—or challenge you to grow.

This isn’t run-and-gun guiding. It’s quiet, smart, and honest fishing with a focus on consistency and learning.

Fishing Locations and Habitat

Captain Bach specializes in guiding across a wide range of East Central Florida’s most productive habitats:

Mosquito Lagoon

33,000 acres of expansive grass flats, oak hammocks, marsh and mangrove islands, it is a part of the largest section of undeveloped land on the east coast of Florida. The evironment is a perfect habitat for a rich diversity of sought-after gamefish, including Redfish, Tarpon, Sea trout, and more.

The Indian River

Running from Mims, south to Stuart, it is 121 mile long inner-coastal lagoon known for its world record Spotted Seatrout, schools of Redfish, large Snook, and much more.

Each trip is adjusted based on wind, water clarity, bait movement, and angler preference. Capt. Bach’s experience allows him to pivot quickly and get you back in range when conditions shift.

What Anglers Are Saying

“Hunter is calm, smart, and technical without being overwhelming. He put me on my personal best redfish and explained every part of the setup. I’ve fished with a lot of guides in Florida—he’s among the best.”
