The Tarpon migration in east central Florida begins in May and often runs through September, peaking in July and August. This world-famous species, the "Silver King", offers some of the most exciting fishing possible. These fish can be aggressive feeders, and once hooked, will have your drag screaming as they run and exhibit jumps akin to acrobatic feats.

Spin Fishing

Tarpon are incredibly aggressive predators when the conditions are right. Whether you're swinging live mullet in the current to holding fish, chasing schools of migrators down the beach, or casting artificials at laid up or rolling fish, Captain Bach will get you up close and personal with the Silver King.

Fly Fishing

When these prehistoric gamefish enter the flats and basins of Mosquito Lagoon, they offer excellent shot for fly fishermen. From laid up, to cruising edges, or rolling in large schools, it is an incredible angling opportunity.

Nearshore trips are wind and swell-dependent. Captain Bach will always prioritize safety and productivity, rescheduling if offshore chop exceeds comfort or access becomes limited.
